Grimsby is a seaport in Lincolnshire, England. It is located 15 miles north of Louth, 33 miles southeast of Hull and 27.3 miles east of Scunthorpe. The postcode is DN31-DN35 and the town has a population of approximately 88,000.

Although there are traces of Roman settlement in the area from the 2^nd century AD, the town was officially founded by the Danes seven centuries later.
