Harlow is a town and borough in Essex, England. It is located on the border to Hertfordshire and lies 28 miles northeast of London city centre, 19 miles west of Chelmsford and 22 miles east of St. Albans. The postcode of Harlow is CM17 and the town has a population of approximately 79,000.
In Harlow, remains of an early Iron Age temple, a Roman temple and an ancient mosaic floor were excavated, which hint at the historical settlements in the area.
