Stratford’s International Quarter launched this week at MIPIM

Lend Lease and London & Continental Railways reveal London’s most exciting commercial district

Lend Lease and London & Continental Railways (LCR) has today launched London’s most exciting new commercial district, The International Quarter, Stratford City at real estate event MIPIM in Cannes.

 

The International Quarter offers 4.0m sq ft of grade A commercial office space in East London set within a 22 acre site in addition to complementary convenience retail, 350 new homes, 1.2 hectares of civic and open space, hotels and childcare facilities.

These developments will collectively leave a lasting positive legacy for East London and beyond.”

 

Uniquely for developments of this size, all the key infrastructure and facilities will be in place when the first office workers move in. Site works commence in early 2013 with the first occupancy proposed for late 2014. It will be a major employment hub for East London creating in excess of 15,000 jobs.
