Office Space in Daventry wants new office tenants
Environmentally friendly offices in Daventry seek businesses specialising in sustainable construction

Employers are being invited to look round the new £8.5m iCon Centre in Northamptonshire and consider taking office space at the Daventry building which was designed to boost the construction industry in the county and which hopes to attract tenants ahead of its opening in April.
Laast year, prior to completion, the development won a national Green Apple Award for its environmentally-friendly design. It uses renewable energy, taken from the air, via customised heat pumps.
Run by charitable organisation iCon East Midlands, the property has 55 units for businesses specialising in sustainable construction. It also benefits from a conference hall, exhibition space and a café.
Funding for iCon's construction was awarded by the East Midlands Development Agency, the European Regional Development Fund and West Northamptonshire Development Corporation.
David Walker, Chairman of iCon East Midlands commented: “The green agenda is changing the way the world does business. This is resulting in a range of new products, services and technologies in sectors ranging from construction to information technology. The iCon is a prestigious but affordable home for the businesses that are behind these innovations.
“But the iCon is more than just an office location – it is an international focal point for the low carbon economy. Over years to come, it will house an exciting business community, providing a hub for networking, business development and cutting edge research.”
