The Aldgate Tower office scheme, previously owned by Morgan Stanley Real Estate, is thought to be under offer for around £17m by Stanhope and Irish investment firm Molloy Properties.
The shelved project to develop 317,000 sq ft of modern, adaptable office space on the City of London outskirts is set for a new lease of life with construction starting this year.
Law firm Trowers Hamlin is reported to have signed a 100,000 sq ft pre-let at the Wilkinson Eyre designed office scheme on Whitechapel High Street, E1.
The joint-venture will pay significantly more than the £13m originally rumoured, to administrators BNP Paribas Real Estate, who took control of the scheme early last year when it fell into receivership.
