A division of national engineering and construction company Balfour Beatty is relocating from offices in Edgbaston to new office space in Solihull.
Balfour Beatty Construction Northern is joining Balfour Beatty Engineering Services at offices in Blythe Valley Park and has signed up for 4,305 sq ft of office accommodation with the intention of offering staff an improved working environment.
Rob Lane, of Balfour Beatty Construction, told TheBusinessDesk.com: "We have been looking at Blythe Valley for some time. It's a great location, perfect for access to anywhere in the country. It makes sense to be closer to another Balfour Beatty company."
Liberty Property Trust UK manages the park in partnership with Doughty Hanson and Co Real Estate. Kate Smith, of Liberty Property Trust, added: "We are home to a range of major international engineering and construction firms and organisations from BAM to Arup and Scott Wilson as well as small and medium sized companies.
"We have seen a rise in enquiries for space here at Blythe Valley and we are very hopeful that this will be first of a series of new companies coming to the park."
Balfour Beatty recently moved in to a new office building at Quorum business park in the North East of England. The purpose built offices boasting 42,000 square feet of office space in Newcastle will provide a centralised financial and procurement service for a number of UK Balfour Beatty companies and other organisations.
