Real estate and surveying firm Savills has announced it has signed up for more than 13,000 sq ft of office space in Manchester's Belvedere block, it has been reported. The plan to rent offices in Manchester will see the company move out of its space in Fountain Court and set up shop on Booth Street, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Savills has signed a 15-year lease on 13,700 sq ft of office space and Andrew Jenkins, from Belvedere's landlord firm Orchard Street Investment, said the new letting shows the calibre of the building.
Head of the Manchester branch of Savills Howard Morgan added: "This is a hugely positive move for Savills and is in response to the substantial growth that the office has achieved since its establishment over 14 years ago."
Firms looking to rent offices in Manchester might be interested to learn that the Belvedere building boasts four lifts, a double height entrance foyer, a basement car park and "feature terraces" on upper floors.
