The international real estate advisor has agreed a new 15-year lease on the entire first floor which totals 13,700 sq ft. Savills, who currently occupies three floors at Fountain Court in Manchester, is due to move its entire office incorporating commercial, L&P and SPF sectors to Belvedere on 21st April 2011.
Andrew Jenkins of Orchard Street says: “We are delighted to welcome Savills to the building. This letting provides further testimony to the quality of Belvedere and its location within Manchester’s prime office core.”
Howard Morgan, head of Savills Manchester office, comments: “This is a hugely positive move for Savills and is in response to the substantial growth that the office has achieved since its establishment over 14 years ago. The new space offers an impressive specification in a superb and central location where we have already built up a reputation as a leading force in the Manchester property market. In addition, it also provides a platform for the office to grow further.”
Totalling 104,000 sq ft Belvedere had a very successful 2010 with office space only remaining available on the part of the ground and fifth floors.
