Birmingham architects expand to new London offices
The Space Studio launches new Clerkenwell office to meet anticipated demand as economy recovers

The Space Studio, a design and architecture practice founded a decade ago in a disused bakery near Tamworth has expanded its operations with the opening of new offices in Clerkenwell, EC1.
Now headquartered at offices in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, The Space Studio co-founders decided to expand south ahead of the 2012 Olympics, anticipating an increase in new projects as the economy picks up.
Speaking to the TheBusinessDesk.com, co-founder Kevin Singh said of the new offices in the City of London: "We've launched The Space Studio in London because we want to be well positioned to win new projects as the economy recovers.
"We recently worked on a Government agency office project, beating some London practices, so we feel like we've got some credibility.
"Our concept is to deliver London projects at Birmingham prices. We think we have a really good product and service to sell. Our strategy is to build on our existing relationships.
"People kept asking us if we had a London office and you could say we have responded to that demand."
Founded in 200, The Space Studio is an innovative, well-established RIBA Registered Practice offering contemporary new build architectural, refurbishment and commercial interior design. Clients include Manchester City Football Club, The Mailbox, Driver Jonas Deloitte, DTZ and Urban Splash to list but a few.
