Savills is seeking firms to take office space at the Whitefriars building in Bristol

Companies looking for office space in Bristol now have a chance to join the existing occupiers of Whitefriars, according to Savills.

The firm's office team has been appointed as joint agents with CB Richard Ellis to market 30,000 sq ft of vacant space at the property in Lewin's Mead this year, Insider reports.

Chris Meredith, director at Savills, described the 11-storey structure as "one of the most desirable office buildings in the city".

He added: "This is a well-known building in Bristol within the city's thriving leisure and retail district."

Firms signing up to rent offices in Bristol at Whitefriars will find the building is already home to organisations such as the NHS, Yell and Zurich.

The property features a refurbished reception and an on-site gym which is used exclusively by occupiers.

Accountancy firm Leonard Curtis recently unveiled a new base at Queen Square in central Bristol, taking its number of UK branches up to eight.
