Plans to redevelop Marble Arch House could lead to more office space in London being made available.British Land has announced it has made a deal with The Portman Estate to buy and redevelop the site and will pay £18 million to acquire the building.
Marble Arch House can be found on the corner between Edgware Road and Seymour Street. Firms looking to rent offices in the West End may be impressed by its ideal location and British Land noted it is just a short walk away from Hyde Park and Oxford Street.
Some 60,000 sq ft of office space in London is set to be included in the redeveloped property, as well as 15,000 sq ft of retail units and a number of new apartments.
British Land recently announced that it is to refurbish and develop 199 Bishopsgate, in the heart of the City, as part of a joint venture with the Blackstone Group.
