Central Saint Giles wins BCO Commercial Workplace Award

West End offices recognised in BCO London & South East Awards 2011

Some of the finest offices in London have been recognised for excellence in the British Council for Offices' annual London and South East Awards.

Over 500 property professionals gathered at the Marriott Grosvenor Square recently, to hear who had won Awards in this year's London and South East competition.

Winning the category for best Commercial Workplace was Legal & General Property and Mitsubishi Estate Company’s Central Saint Giles which comprises 408,000 sq ft of grade A office space in the West End of London.

Last month Google signed up for 160,000 sq ft of accommodation at the Renzo Piano designed scheme which is now fully let to a variety of media firms including Mindshare, Universal Studios, Specific Media and Burson-Marsteller.

Other awards went to offices in Canary Wharf, Westminster, Clerkenwell and the City of London.
