Charity set for £1m office space in Manchester
Manchester teen charity 42nd Street is to relocate to a new office space in the city of Manchester after receiving a grant.

A Manchester-based charity is to move into new office space in Manchester after receiving cash to help it expand.42nd Street, which was founded 30 years ago, will relocate to a new home in Ancoats after it was granted some £200,000 and applied for a low interest mortgage of £800,000, the Manchester Evening News reports.
The £200,000 cash boost was given to the charity by the Futurebuilders fund and their application was helped along by Peter Buglass, a property developer.
42nd Street is a charity aimed at helping people aged between 13 and 25. It offers counselling, in both a group and individual setting, as well as volunteering opportunities.
Commenting on the move to new office space in Manchester, director of the organisation Vera Martins said: "We wanted to give the young people something to be proud of and it will be a really interesting, unique building which says something positive about them."
