Worcester-based developer Maximus has signed up a trio of companies for office space at its new Topaz Business Park.Accommodation at the Bromsgrove complex, which could appeal to firms that currently rent offices in Birmingham, is now almost 50 per cent occupied, Insider reports.
A ten-year lease has been agreed with actuary Barnett Waddingham for 10,000 sq ft at the development, while Mercian Surgical Supply has acquired the freehold for the Topaz 10 unit.
This comprises 5,130 sq ft of office space, with the specialist instrument supplier choosing to move its head office from Quinton to the business park.
Meanwhile, Talisman Recruitment will relocate from nearby Stoke Prior to take up 2,785 sq ft of space at Topaz on a five-year lease.
The business park covers an area of 12 acres and was designed to have a minimal impact on the surrounding area, with car parking spaces planned carefully within wooded areas.
It is located within 20 miles of Birmingham and 24 miles of Warwick, adjacent to junction one of the M42.
