Newly opened £8.3m offices already home to eight businesses

The £8.3m Corby Enterprise Centre, which was only completed in November last year, is welcoming its seventh and eight new tenants to its new office space in Northamptonshire. Property consultants Altus Edwin Hill and recruitment firm Merritt and Baker have both agreed terms for space at the new scheme.
Sheridan Baker, of Merritt and Baker, said: “High quality flexible serviced offices were simply not available within Corby until the CEC launched. We have been awaiting the release of these offices for over a year and have turned down multiple offers to relocate. We are more than happy with the results in terms of facilities and cost.”
Corby Borough Council appointed Angle Management to manage the new facility which the council hopes will boost business in the town.
The property comprises 15 workshops/studios on the ground floor, along with a meeting room and 3,679 sq ft of office space. The first floor totals some 23,257 sq ft of office accommodation with an additional two meeting rooms. Office space at the Corby Enterprise Centre is divided across 38 suites and will provide early stage companies with fully equipped flexible accommodation with no up-front capital investment.
In addition the centre will offer business support and strategic advice, all designed to accelerate the successful development of entrepreneurial companies.
