DWF completes Manchester office move

Law firm DWF has completed its relocation to new office space in Manchester.The company is now in residence at 2 Hardman Square in Spinningfields, where it has signed up for 82,995 sq ft of space spread across four floors.
According to a statement from the firm, the move was carried out over three weekends at the end of 2010 and its 460 Manchester-based staff are "delighted" with their new home.
David Pickering, executive partner for Manchester at DWF, said the new building provides the company with "a cutting-edge working environment for our people and clients".
He explained that one of the four floors at 2 Hardman Square will be used to create a new "client suite".
The Spinningfields office was formerly occupied by employees of the Guardian Media Group, including the Manchester Evening News.
DWF, which was recently named among the UK's top 50 legal firms and reported a 17 per cent rise in turnover for 2009/10, also has office space in London, Leeds, Liverpool, Preston and Newcastle.
