Sheffield offices recognised as inspirational workplace at BCO Northern Regional Awards 2011

Offices in the North of the UK have been recognised for excellence in the BCO Regional Awards 2011. The winners of the BCO North of England, North Wales and Northern Ireland Regional Awards were announced last night at a prestigious ceremony held at the Radisson Edwardian Manchester.

Offices in Manchester, Leeds, Wakefield and Northern Ireland were all winners of awards for best Commercial Workplace, best Corporate Workplace, best Fit-Out of Workplace, best Refurbished/Recycled Workplace and Best Project up to 2,000 sq mts.

The Electric Works in Sheffield was singled out for nomination by the judges to compete for the National Innovation prize. A truly innovative product, the judges felt it was an inspiring workplace promoting creative thinking. Most notable is the functional helter skelter which features as a piece of art and immediately encourages the notion of the workplace as a fun place to be rather than a place to be endured.
