Serviced office provider Avanta is boosting the speed of the shared broadband data services it provides to clients from the already excellent 8Mbps to an improved 20Mbps, recognising the need for speed due to increased demand for streaming media, desktop video conferencing and use of cloud capabilities.

The business centre operator is providing the broadband speed upgrade at no extra cost to clients and will be introducing the 20Mbps connectivity option at its Austin Friars’ serviced offices in the City of London, during August with a roll out across a majority of its other London centres over the next two months.

“This free upgrade to internet access speed is part of our continuing quest to provide better services to our office space clients. It will provide a step change in download and upload data rates, and will give an immediate productivity boost to our client base,” comments David Kinnaird, Avanta’s Group Operations Director.

“Internet access is part of Avanta’s business services package, which is £99 per month/per user at our London centres and just £69 per month/per user outside of London. The free upgrade will happen overnight and there will be no loss of service at all – clients who choose to upgrade will simply log in the next day to faster internet access.”

Avanta business centres are now a mainstream choice for an increasing number of organisations looking for the flexibility of serviced offices in Central London, be they in the City, West End, Victoria or West London.
