Highcross has let a total of 6,807 sq ft of office space in Leeds at its Toronto Square scheme. Franklin Templeton Global Investors has taken 3,317 sq ft on the second floor and The Bridge IT Limited has signed up for 2,490 sq ft on the fourth floor, both on ten-year leases at rents of up to £24 per sq ft.
Franklin Templeton Global Investors Limited and The Bridge IT Limited are the latest occupiers to locate their Leeds offices to Highcross’ Toronto Square scheme in the centre of the city’s financial and legal district.
The 90,000 sq ft Toronto Square BREEAM Excellent office scheme was completed in 2009, following a multi-million re-development and extension programme and shortly afterwards won the ‘Office Development of the Year’ category of the national Estates Gazette Green Awards, in recognition of its sustainability and environmental performance.
Highcross Senior Asset Manager, Iain Taylor commented: “These are significant lettings, which give both occupiers a high profile, prestigious location in the centre of Leeds’ business district. Interest levels continue to be strong and we have recently agreed terms on a further 4,400 sq ft on the third floor of the building.”
Agents for Toronto Square are CB Richard Ellis and Knight Frank.
