Interior Services Group plc, the international construction services group, last week announced that its UK Construction business has opened new offices in Glasgow and secured new contract awards, since November 2010, totalling £120m.
Following the recruitment of some of the senior management team from Rok’s former Scottish business, ISG signed up for new office space in Glasgow at Buchanan Gate, Stepps and has already secured contracts totalling £40m, including completion of a bottling hall scheme for Diageo, a regeneration scheme for Home Scotland and a luxury accommodation scheme in St Andrews.
Outside Scotland, the UK Construction business has secured £80m of work including projects for Imperial College, the Stock Exchange (pictured) and British Land in London, Dudley College in the Midlands, Railtrack in Yorkshire and BAE in the North West. The business is also the preferred bidder on three other schemes totalling £90m.
David Lawther, ISG Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to announce these contract awards in our UK Construction business across our network of offices, and in particular the creation of our presence in Scotland.”
ISG is headquartered at offices in Aldgate, London, and has a presence across the country which includes offices in Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Ispwich and Cardiff.
