JLL wins Office Agency Team of the Year at Property Week Awards 2011

Judges impressed by 6.5m sq ft of office space transactions in 2010

Jones Lang LaSalle was crowned Office Agency Team of the Year in front of more than 1,300 people at the prestigious Property Awards 2011 Awards, hosted this week by Property Week magazine at the London’s Grosvenor Hotel.

A senior panel of six judges representing Heron International, Stanhope, Exemplar Properties, Derwent London, Goodman and MEPC were impressed by the 6.5m sq ft of UK transactions across more than 240 separate deals completed by Jones Lang LaSalle’s Office Agency teams. Key highlights for the firm in 2010 included the 292,000 sq ft letting of office space in the City of London at Drapers Gardens (pictured) on behalf of Exemplar Properties and Canary Wharf Group and the 298,000 sq ft letting at British Land’s Ropemaker Street.

Neil Prime, Head of Markets Group at Jones Lang LaSalle, who collected the award last night, said: “This award is excellent recognition of the drive and commitment our teams have shown in tough, competitive market conditions. As well as winning a number of new mandates, Jones Lang LaSalle’s Central London team was appointed by Sellar Property Group & Qatari National Bank as joint leasing agent on The Shard. This was the result of a collective Central London and Global team approach and a two-year pursuit.”
