Moorfield to upgrade 140,000 sq ft prime retail & office space scheme

The BusinessDesk and Property Week have today reported that Moorfield Group has released its plans to significantly refurbish a landmark office-led scheme in Leeds city centre.
Holbeck Land identified West Riding House for the Moorfield Holbeck Land Joint Venture when the building was placed in the hands of receivers by Anglo Irish Bank in June 2010.
The property was successfully acquired in February 2011 following a 4 month competitive bidding process by Moorfield Real Estate Fund ll with Holbeck Land appointed Asset Managers.
The prominent building has high street frontages to Bond Street and Albion Street and includes 64,000 sq ft of prime retail space and 76,000 sq ft of office space in Leeds city centre, supported by a 440 space multi-storey car park.
The vacant office space is to be jointly marketed by the Leeds office agency teams of King Sturge and Savills.
