Article posted: 24 Aug 2011
The British Assessment Bureau has taken up 3,165 sq ft of office space in West Malling, Kent, at 30 Tower View at Kings Hill Business Park.
The property is owned by Kings Hill Property Unit Trust, who was advised on this transaction by Hanover Green.
BAB, which certified management standards, provides associated training and creates bespoke assessment schemes, has further plans to double its occupancy within the next three years at the US inspired business park, set in 800 acres of grounds near West Malling, two miles from junction 4 of the M20.
Kings Hill was a former airfield and is now home to around 6,500 residents and more than 100 businesses employing over 5,000 people. There is an 18 hole golf course, cricket pitch, David Lloyds leisure centre, further recreation and sports amenities, schools and a village centre with shops and cafes.
The letting announcement follows recently signed leases on a further 20,000 sq ft of office space, with Teligent Telecom and ADT Fire & Security both extending their tenure. Other tenants include Barclays, Jupiter, Rail Europe and Kimberly-Clark.
Kevin Hawthorn, a partner at Hanover Green believes: “The unique, landscaped environment and quality of the offices at Kings Hill, as well as the various recreation and leisure facilities, make it an attractive base for any business looking for a new location.”
