Klarius Group has agreed a deal to take more office space in Manchester. The automotive parts supplier will expand its operations at Manchester Airport's Voyager House, doubling the amount of space it uses to 6,000 sq ft.
Company chairman Tony Wilson explained that the firm has benefited from the building's transport links since relocating its European headquarters from Blackpool six months ago.
"It's literally a two-minute walk from platform to desk, or if you need to get a flight, five minutes to check in," he said.
Voyager House is owned by the airport's property arm MAG Developments, which welcomed the company's expansion.
Business development director Stephanie Mullenger said the building is "unique" within the local market, as it provides "town centre transport links and amenities in an out-of-town site".
Klarius provides exhaust systems, catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters and shock absorbers for a variety of vehicles.
As well as the UK, the company has offices in Germany, France and Spain.
