Mayfair office development gets green light
PRUPIM’s 30 Berkeley Square office scheme gets go ahead
Article posted: 30 Jan 2012
PRUPIM's flagship office scheme at 30 Berkeley Square has been granted planning permission by Westminster City Council to provide 52,000 sq ft of new Grade A office space in Mayfair.
The prominence of the site on the north side of Berkeley Square will mean that the Aukett Fitzroy Robinson-designed scheme will have one of the most exclusive business addresses in the world.
Commenting on the plans David Morris Director of Development at PRUPIM said: "Extensive re-modelling of the building and the new designs by Aukett Fitzroy Robinson will yield two stunning new penthouse floors with terraces that will provide unrivalled outlooks over Berkeley Square.
"The scheme will also deliver a range of sustainability improvements which will ensure that it continues to provide a benchmark for prime-plus quality in the Mayfair office market."
The scheme is set to be delivered in summer 2013 when it is anticipated that there will be significant demand for high quality office space in the West End.
H2SO has been appointed as letting agents for the building.
