New Basingstoke office for IT distributor Micro-P

Micro-P has moved to new headquarters adjacent to its former office space in Basingstoke

Technology distributor Micro-P has moved into new office space in Basingstoke, as well as expanding its Lancashire warehouse site.

Situated next to its former office in the Hampshire town, the company's new headquarters measures 17,500 sq ft and is 35 per cent larger than its previous home, Mobile News reports.

Micro-P also opted to enlarge its warehouse facility at Lancashire's Altham Business Park (pictured) from 120,000 sq ft to 150,000 sq ft.

Managing director Gerry O'Keeffe described the firm's office space move as "a great way to start the new year".

He told the news provider: "The challenge has been to grow the space and retain the intensity of the old site.

"The new building is a more usable space."

Established in 1980, Micro-P is a subsidiary of Irish group DCC. It is one of the largest distributors of IT products in the UK reseller market and works with partners such as Acer, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba.
