Arts, fashion and culture magazine Fused has relocated to new office space in Birmingham after eight years at the city's Custard Factory. The publication, which also runs the Area Culture Guide for the West Midlands, will now occupy city centre office space above the We Are Birmingham shop on Kings Parade.
Launched by husband and wife team David and Kerry O'Coy in 2000, Fused was originally distributed for free but is now sold in shops and galleries throughout the region.
Ms O'Coy was recently named as one of Birmingham City University's alumni of the year for 2010.
"When we started, we had no computer, no telephone and no office space but I am quite tenacious and wanted it to succeed," she told the institution.
"I was driven by a desire to do something that I love."
As the city's arts and media quarter, the Custard Factory is popular with creative businesses looking to rent offices in Birmingham.
The five-acre development is located on the former site of the production facility built by Sir Alfred Bird, the inventor of powdered custard.
