Recruitment firm set for new Birmingham office space

A new Birmingham office is on the agenda for Encore Personnel Services.

A Leicester-based recruitment company is set to expand with the launch of new office space in Birmingham.

Encore Personnel Services revealed plans to open a new branch in the West Midlands city after seeing its turnover increase by 62 per cent to £22.6 million last year.

The firm said the recent upturn in business will help to establish a dedicated office in central Birmingham, which has previously been served by the company's branches in Coventry and Telford.

"We are excited to be expanding into Birmingham, bringing with us a wealth of experience, a good working knowledge of the local area and a fresh take on recruitment," said managing director Greg Latham.

Encore, which was founded in 2002 and has a network of 16 divisions, also uses office space in Nottingham and Northampton.

Other organisations signing up to rent offices in Birmingham include the NSPCC, which last week announced it would take 7,385 sq ft at the 6-7 Newhall Square development.
