New Bradford office for Standard Wool UK

Standard Wool relocates head office to new build property close to Bradford city centre

Article posted: 06 Apr 2011

Bradford-based Standard Wool has taken 8,750 sq ft of office space in Bradford at a two storey building on Trevor Foster Way, at the head of the M606 motorway.

The deal was concluded on behalf of the landlord, Leo Group, by the Bradford office of chartered surveyors Eddisons, at an asking rent of £15.00 per sq ft.

Shazad Mahmood of Eddisons said: “We are delighted to have concluded this deal on behalf of the landlord and secured a long established and quality tenant, at a time when the commercial office market in Bradford is subdued.”

Nicholas Maddams, Standard Wools’ Financial Director said: “These offices provide the perfect working environment and the convenience of the location, being close to the motorway network and Bradford city centre makes us easily accessible for staff, customers and suppliers.”

Standard Wool (UK) is a leading global wool merchant and processor with offices in the UK, Chile, New Zealand and China. The group supplies customers in more than 30 countries and sources its wool from around the world.

The firm has relocated to Trevor Foster Way from their existing head office at Carlton Buildings on Clifton Street, Bradford.
