Architects, Pick Everard, have announced plans to take on new office space in Cardiff after winning contracts valued at around £500,000 in the Welsh city at the end of last year.
The new offices in Cardiff will be a base for the firm to work on new contracts such as that with Aberystwyth University, north Wales where it has been appointed technical adviser on a £40m project to build a 1,000-bed student residence.
South Wales Police has appointed the firm to manage the development of a £16m custodial suite and in Merthyr Tydfil Pick Everard will be working with the local borough council on a care homes project. Welsh Water is another new client.
Elsewhere the firm recently completed work on Norwich Union’s state-of-the-art £9m call centre offices in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland (pictured).
The Leicester-based architects are now considering new offices in the North East to bridge the gap between existing offices in Glasgow and Derby.
Pick Everard was established 146 years ago and currently employs around 200 people at its offices in Leicester. A further 150 staff are spread across offices in Derby, Nottingham, London, Inverness, Bury St Edmunds, in Suffolk, and Taunton, in Somerset.
