Based on the former site of an illustrious printing company, an eye catching new building providing apartments and office space in Leeds has just been launched. Indigo Blu provides two floors of highly specified offices with up to 10,173 sq ft of accommodation and suites from 527 sq ft. In addition it will offer 46 one and two bed apartments which are nearing completion.
Don Little, Managing Director of Merin Properties Limited, developers of the site commented: “The completion of Indigo Blu is a real achievement and we anticipate it will provide a springboard for the revival of the area. The plans for the South Bank including the proposed City Centre Park will irreversibly change the landscape of Leeds City Centre. Indigo Blu is in an ideal location to profit from these plans and really will become a gateway landmark with both proximity to the City Centre, Clarence Docks and the motorway networks.”
Glen Levison, Partner at acting agent Sanderson Weatherall said; “Indigo Blu is significant in that it is one of the first buildings to be completed in Leeds centre in recent years. Many developments have simply come to a standstill which has been terribly negative for the city; we are quietly optimistic that this will accelerate recovery of the market and buoy confidence.”
Indigo Blu is designed by architecture 2B the style is taken from the art-deco era of the print industries heyday and the name Indigo Blu is inspired by the popular print pigment. This rich, vibrant colour is prevalent throughout the building, creating a truly stunning working environment.
Sanderson Weatherall is acting as joint agent for Indigo Blu with WSB Property Consultants LLP.
