Key Capital Partners (KCP) has added a fourth location to its network with the launch of new office space in London. The private equity firm said the premises on Gray's Inn Road near King's Cross St Pancras will offer close proximity to clients in the City and improved access to the Thames Valley, Solent and Gatwick regions.
Investment manager Gareth Evans has been brought in from the transaction services team at PricewaterhouseCoopers to identify new opportunities for the company in the south-east.
"This new office in London will help to strengthen our relationships with the business and professional community in the capital," commented Mike Fell, founding partner at KCP.
He claimed the decision to rent offices in London highlights both the firm's success and the growing demand for "responsible, partner-led private equity investment in the mid-market".
KCP, which was founded in 2007, also uses office space in Leeds, Birmingham and Cambridge.
Last year, the firm supported the expansion of furniture and home accessories retailer Dwell with an equity investment of £5 million.
