Senior appointments coincide with move to new offices at Belvedere

Savills Commercial has announced the appointments of Peter Mallinder as head of the Northern region and Patrick Joynson as head of its Manchester office. The new roles coincide with the firm’s move to new office space in Manchester at Belvedere, 12 Booth Street (pictured), on Monday 18 April 2011.
Savills, who now employ over 22,000 people world wide, established the Manchester office in 1996 with three people. Affter 15 years of growth, the office now employs over 150 staff making it one of the largest surveying practices in the North West.
Savills growth in the North West has been reflective of its expanding global coverage - the company is now the strongest property consultant in China and one of the largest in the Far East. Savills Manchester office not only carries out all the traditional commercial property disciplines, but also has a very experienced residential team and mortgage broking services.
Savills was awarded the North West Office Agency Team of the Year 2010 and the North West Investment Agency Team of the Year 2010. In addition its management team won its second Platinum Standard from the Property Managers Association (PMA) for its management of the Parkgate Retail Park in Rotherham on behalf of British Land in August 2010.
