The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) has signed up for new office space in Birmingham at 6-7 Newhall Square.
The children’s charity will set up their regional headquarters in the building and has taken 7,385 sq ft of accommodation at the scheme, which is the first phase of the Newhall Square development in the city’s Jewellery Quarter.
The property, owned by RO St Bernard, is now fully let, with architecture firm MADE occupying 3,089 sq ft on the ground floor.
The £63m Newhall Square development is a mixed-use scheme delivering 10,856 sq ft of new build offices plus a hotel. In addition phase one comprises a Grade II listed refurbished office building let to Ormiston Academies Trust and The Engine Room, the former Science Museum exhibition hall also now refurbished and suitable for bar/restaurant, studio or office use.
ROSB is expected to begin work on phase two later this year, providing another hotel and further office accommodation.
