Serviced office provider Citibase has entered into an agreement with Palmer Capital Partners and Opus Land to operate around 8,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation at Exchange House in Chester.
Exchange House will be the only business centre offering high quality serviced office space in Chester City Centre. The Exchange is situated on St Johns Street in close proximity to many of Chester’s main retail/ leisure facilities, and Chester’s mainline railway and bus stations are nearby.
The deal is consistent with Citibase’s target of developing long-term strategic partnerships with a number of blue chip property funds. Citibase will focus on generating rental income from local SMEs seeking fully serviced office space on highly flexible terms.
Neil Creeney at Opus Land said: “We are delighted to enter this partnership with Citibase for Exchange House and are confident that the offering will be attractive to SMEs seeking high levels of service and flexibility in prime office space.”
Jon Addis, Finance Director of Citibase, added: “Forming a partnership with Palmer Capital and Opus Land is a further endorsement of Citibase’s credentials and proven operating model in the business centre market. We are confident that Exchange House will perform well and hope this is the first of a number of opportunities to work with Palmer and Opus.”
Citibase operates a network of 34 business centres providing serviced offices across the UK, as far north as Edinburgh where it has two business centres and on the south coast with offices in Brighton.
