New South Kensington offices for Sotheby’s International Realty

International estate agent to establish HQ on The Fulham Road

Estate agent Sotheby's International Realty is to move to new office space in South Kensington at 62 Fulham Road, SW3.

In a deal agreed between Sotheby’s parent company Countrywide Estate Agents and landlord The Wellcome Trust, Sotheby’s will make its new UK headquarters at the Chelsea property, taking 1,200 sq ft on a 15 year lease.

Sotheby’s is currently based at office space in Mayfair on Conduit Street, W1.

Commenting on the deal, Alan Lynch, who is responsible for property at The Wellcome Trust, said: "We are very pleased with this latest addition to the estate, and are particularly excited to have the renowned Sotheby's brand on board. This new letting will further raise the profile of the South Kensington Estate, and fit perfectly into the highly aspirational retail mix in this affluent area of London."

The Wellcome Trust was advised by Kitchen La Frenais Morgan acted for; Montagu Evans advised Countrywide Estate Agents.
