According to Property Week, home entertainments company, BSkyB, is on the look out for new offices in West London with a requirement for around 180,000 sq ft of accommodation.
It is thought that Hanover Green has been appointed to find new office space in Hammersmith, Richmond, Wembley or Slough in time for Sky’s relocation from existing offices in Brentford later this year.
Sky has over 10m customers and 16,500 employees. It has 21 offices in the UK in major cities including the capital with office space in Victoria, SW1 and East London.
In March Office Space News reported on Sky’s expansion of office space in Stockport, Cheshire at its St Peter’s Square customer contact centre, taking its occupancy of the scheme to two thirds of the property which is owned by BAM Properties. The media giant has a further four customer contact centres, three of which are at offices in Scotland, the other at offices in Leeds.
