Irish firm Entrust which provides planning consultancy and IT services to onshore and offshore wind energy firms has taken up office space in Cheshire at the Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus.
The Galway-based company is taking advantage of the 'Hello Northwest' initiative, set up at the beginning of the year to encourage new inward investment in the region from overseas.
Entrust is the 18th overseas firm to take up office space in the north west of England under the scheme and takes the number of international businesses based at the Daresbury complex to eight.
‘Hello Nortwest’ was established by the Northwest Regional Development Agency alongside two of the region’s inward investment agencies, MIDAS and The Mersey Partnership plus a range of serviced office providers and science parks, including Avanta, Bruntwood and Orega.
Firms signing up to the scheme benefit from 12 months rent free office space supported by a full range of business support and investor development services.
