Insurer AEGIS London is moving to new office space in the City of London at 33 Gracechurch Street, EC3.

The 102,209 sq ft scheme was developed by Australian property group Stockland and has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment programme to provide a modern, open plan environment.

With this move Aegis has allowed for the continued expansion of a business that has grown from around 30 employees and Lloyd’s stamp capacity of £35 million in 2000, to over 90 employees and capacity of £310 million today.

The property which is arranged over eight floors, including a basement and sub basement, is already part occupied by Clydesdale Bank who have 15,630 sq ft on the fifth and sixth floors and Bank PHB which has 9,140 sq ft on the ground floor.

Commenting on the move, Stuart Davies, Managing Director, AEGIS London, said: “Our move to new, larger premises as we celebrate ten years as an independent managing agency in the Lloyd’s market marks a significant step change in our evolution.

33 Gracechurch Street is located in the heart of the City of London and within minutes of Bank and Monument Underground stations.
