Simplisys has committed its future to office space in Bristol by purchasing a unit at the Portis Fields development.

The sale was secured by joint property agents DTZ and Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), acting on behalf of Gladman Developments, Insider reports.

Portis Fields forms part of the Middle Bridge Business Park in Portishead and unit five is now the only building still available at the scheme.

Simplisys, a company that provides helpdesk and customer relationship management software, will occupy 2,250 sq ft of office space at unit 15 of the development.

There is a total of 55,000 sq ft spread across 16 units at Portis Fields, which was completed in 2009.

LSH announced the sale of unit ten, a three-storey office building measuring 9,956 sq ft, to a private investor for £1.5 million in August last year.

The property consultancy described Portis Fields as "one of the south-west's most successful office schemes".
