Revised plans to be submitted for Norwich’s Anglia Square mixed-use scheme
Multi-million pound project will deliver new retail, leisure, residential and office space

The much anticipated regeneration of Anglia Square in Norwich is taking a positive step forward this week with the submission of revised plans to Norwich City Council.
It’s been more than a decade since plans to overhaul the north city shopping precinct were hatched, but the on/off project hit its most solid brick wall when the recession put an end to the £100m proposals.
Developers have since come up with a revised plan which will include new residential, leisure, retail and office space in the Norfolk city.
Plans already with consent include a supermarket, restaurants, cafes and a new healthcare centre.
A Norwich City Council spokesman told Norwich Evening News 24: “We are working closely with the developers and expect a new application for Anglia Square to be submitted very shortly.”
