Double lettings success at 151 Shaftesbury Avenue

Royal London welcome Idemitsu and Travelzoo to newly refurbished offices

Royal London Asset Management has secured two new tenants at its recently refurbished 151 Shaftesbury Avenue. Completed in December last year, the landmark property comprises a total of 48,900 sq ft of Grade A office space in Midtown.

Japanese oil and gas company Idemitsu has signed up to take 6,000 sq ft on the sixth floor of the West End offices, at £50 per sq ft. Additionally, Travelzoo has committed to 6,000 sq ft of prime location office space on the seventh floor at £55 per sq ft.

Idemitsu will relocate from existing offices on New Oxford Street, WC1, while Travelzoo will move from office space in Covent Garden, WC2.

So confident is Royal London that the two remaining lower floors will be snapped up quickly, the quoting rent has been increased to £52.50 per sq ft.
