Capita Symonds relocates Merseyside offices

Sefton office will move to new premises at Alaska House in Bootle

Capita Symonds has announced that it will be moving its 134 staff from offices in Sefton to new office space in Bootle, Merseyside. The improved collaborative work environment is within a five storey, grade A office facility which has a BREEAM ‘very good’ rating. The team will occupy the third floor of the building on a 13 year lease and are due to move in at the end of January 2011.

Gary Massey, Business Director for Capita Symonds’ Sefton office, says “We’ve given detailed consideration of a number of options for the new business location over the past year. I believe that Alaska House will help us to realise both ours and the Council’s ambitions of improved service delivery and business growth within the borough as well as providing our staff and visitors with a first class environment.”

 “The landlord Royal London Mutual has invested over £37m in the regeneration and development of Atlantic Park. Needless to say, Royal London Mutual was keen to welcome Capita Symonds, as a renowned FTSE 100 company that will help attract other major organisations to the area. Another added bonus is that we work within the local community, are connected to the area, and are actively committed to creating more and more local jobs as we grow our business,” he adds.

Associate Commercial Manager and Project Manager for the office move, Andy Archer, said: “We are really pleased to have secured this opportunity with The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society and to be part of the wider Atlantic Park development, which is progressing rapidly. The new office will make a positive difference to staff and visitors, and will set the benchmark for future Capita Symonds office facilities.”
