Architectural group Archial has moved into new office space in Edinburgh. The firm has transferred its operations in the Scottish capital from Rothesay Place to a new base at 2 Multrees Walk on the corner of St Andrew Square.
Director at Archial Cameron Walker said the premises in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town boast a modern, open-plan layout that is "a more conducive working environment for an architectural practice".
He added: "This move consolidates our presence in the capital and will see some 20 professional and support staff move across the city."
Mr Walker explained that the relocation was relatively straightforward because the 3,000 sq ft office was already set up as an architect's studio.
As well as its Edinburgh base, Archial's Scottish operations include office space in Glasgow, Inverness and Aberdeen.
Shepherd, one of the UK's biggest firms of chartered surveyors, recently shifted its Edinburgh office from 3 Chester Street to a larger building at 12 Atholl Crescent.
