Internet security firm Trend Micro is set to occupy new office space in Leeds.The company has agreed terms on a three-year lease for 2,450 sq ft at 49 St Paul's Street in the West Yorkshire city, Insider Media reports.
Tom Brammeld of property consultancy Jones Lang LaSalle explained that the organisation required larger premises following its acquisition of online file storage firm Humyo earlier this year.
He told the publication: "Trend Micro needed more office space for its expanded team, with the refurbished accommodation at 49 St Paul's Street fitting the bill perfectly."
Jones Lang LaSalle advised landlord Kelly & Co Solicitors on the agreement.
Patrick Kelly of Kelly & Co said the firm expects to report "further leasing activity in the new year" at 49 St Paul's Street.
Headquartered in Tokyo, Trend Micro's UK head office is located at Pacific House in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
The company has operations in 30 countries and employs more than 4,400 people.
