Regus, the global workplace provider, yesterday announced the opening of its ninth business centre offering serviced offices in Manchester, located in the Digital World Centre opposite both the BBC’s and ITV’s new offices in Salford Quays at MediaCityUK. Regus is expanding its regional presence to meet rising demand for high specification, flexible workspace and virtual business services.
The Digital World Centre is located adjacent to Media City, less than two miles from Manchester city centre and 20 minutes’ drive from Manchester International Airport. As part of the Regus network of over 150 centres across the UK, it offers a modern, professional working environment with state-of-the-art IT facilities in a select location. Products and services range from fully equipped serviced offices to professional meeting rooms, ‘drop in’ business lounges and video communication facilities.
Celia Donne, Regional Director at Regus, commented: “We are experiencing our highest ever new business enquiry rate in the Manchester area, and are pleased to unveil our ninth centre in the city. It will enable us to accommodate growth in business, driven in part by the strength of entrepreneurial business in Manchester but also the trend for flexible working. We are seeing a fundamental change in practices and attitudes towards offices, with a significant shift away from traditional, fixed premises for nine-to-fivers towards the ‘21st’ century, flexible workspace for virtual and mobile workers.”
In addition to welcoming Regus, Digitial World Centre has also been chosen by Telegraph Media Group who will move into their new office space in Salford Quays in May and Transport Media who has selected DWC for their new headquarter offices.
