SECOM move to Strathclyde Business Park

Electronic security firm relocates regional headquarter offices to Glasgow business park

Article posted: 24 Mar 2011

Leading electronic security company SECOM recently moved into new office space just outside Glasgow at Strathclyde Business Park. The firm which specialises in tailored security solutions for intruder alarms and CCTV has established new regional headquarter offices at one of Scotland’s leading business locations.

Headquartered at offices in Kenley, Surrey, SECOM operate throughout mainland Britain from six other regional offices in Leeds, Birmingham, Essex, Middelsex, West Sussex and Kent with an additional twenty support offices, employing over 560 people.

SECOM now occupies 3,300 sq ft of office space in Dalziel House. SECOM’s Scottish Regional Manager, Stuart Comrie, explained the rationale for the move.

“The Scottish division is performing incredibly well, and had outgrown our old premises – both in terms of size and the quality of the space, which we didn’t feel accurately reflected both our market proposition and our ambitions for future growth.

“Strathclyde Business Park is an excellent fit for us – the quality of both our building and the surrounding environment reflects the same quality, care and attention to detail that we deliver to our customers.”

Stephen Lewis, HFD’s development director, is delighted to welcome SECOM to the Park. He explained “We are committed to working closely with all of our tenants throughout their entire experience of the Park. Having agreed a deal, we managed the fit-out process to ensure a smooth transition for staff.”
