Trio of deals brings Sheffield office scheme to 100% occupancy

Ventana House at Sheffield Digital Campus now fully let with three new tenants

Owners of the Sheffield Digital Campus, Scarborough Development Group and GMI Property Company, have announced that office scheme Ventana House is now fully let following a hat trick of deals. Sky, Coal Pension Trustees Services and Michael Page have all taken office space at the Sheffield property.

Media giant Sky has signed up for 23,571 sq ft of accommodation at the 50,000 sq ft scheme, with Coal Pension Trustees Services taking 5,799 sq ft and recruitment firm Michael Page moving in to 2,932 sq ft.

The new tenants will join solicitors Kennedys who occupy the remaining 16,720 sq ft at offices opened by Deputy Prime Minister and MP for Hallam Nick Clegg in October last year.

When Kennedy’s signed for accommodation at Ventana House it was the most significant office letting in Sheffield of the year. Advised by Savills, the international dispute resolution law firm agreed a 16 year lease on at around £20 per sq ft for the prime Grade A office space in Sheffield.

James Poskitt, MD of GMI Property commented: “Securing tenants of this standing is a mark of the quality of the buildings and the location of Sheffield Digital Campus, and reflects well on the City as a while. Achieving this investment in the City and the additional 500 jobs it brings is, in this economic environment, something to be proud of.”

Sheffield Digital Campus is marketed by Knight Frank and Lambert Smith Hampton.
