Max Property Group Plc has announced the letting of the 30,000 sq ft of office space in South Manchester at Brabazon House within Concord Business Park, to Shell UK in one of the area’s most significant lettings in recent years. Shell has taken a ten year lease with a break option at year five.
Concord Business Park is located near Manchester Airport and comprises 124,000 sq ft in five buildings. Shell joins Serco who leased 25,000 sq ft in Maple House, accountants Trevor Jones who moved into Rowan Court (18,000 sq ft) and ThyssenKrupp Elevator UK who took 11,000 sq ft at Caravelle Court, all of whom have relocated to Concord within the last 36 months.
For Max’s investment advisor, Prestbury Investments LLP, Ben Walford commented: ”We are thrilled to be bringing another outstanding occupier to Concord, reinforcing it as one of South Manchester’s most attractive and competitive occupational locations. We now turn our attention to refurbishing the final vacant building on the park, the 40,000 sq ft Dakota House, and bringing the space to the market as soon as possible.”
