Tenant-friendly approach works wonders for owners Bluehall Properties

A series of new deals has enabled North East property business, Bluehall Properties, to fully let its office scheme Temple Point on the outskirts of Leeds.
Three new lettings, totalling 18,500 sq ft of office space at the Leeds’ scheme have been completed in the last two months, after Bluehall Properties, Gateshead, started to market the empty properties with a new `tenant-friendly’ approach for which property consultants, Carter Towler and King Sturge, Leeds, were appointed agents.
The new lettings are more than 12,000 sq ft at Unit 5 to portable appliance testing (PAT) organisation, Nationwide Electrical Safety. The company relocated from Colton Mill Office Park and urgently needed additional space for a new national call centre.
Telecommunications and data distribution specialist, Nimans, which supports telephones, telephone systems, headsets, audio conferencing units and structured cabling solutions, relocated from office space in Wetherby, to the first floor of Unit 6.
In the third new letting, energy management company, Matrix Control Solutions, expanded to 2,500 sq ft on the ground floor of Unit 7. The business, with clients throughout Europe, helps public sector, commercial and industrial organisations cut their energy use through innovation and partnerships.
Temple Point comprises nine detached self-contained, two-storey office buildings totaling more than 76,000 sq ft, of which Bluehall Properties owns six buildings.
